stuck in the elevator

i just entered the base in black mesa, and i've followed the girl to the elevator, but nothing is happening now. i can stand in the elevator and push the buttons, nothing happens. i can't talk to her and i can't get out of this area.

what did i do wrong?

would loading a savegame from just after this point work? if so, anyone know where i can download some from?

thanks, that was the exact same problem i had. the map cheat worked. not sure what the problem was though...
