stuck on entanglement

i met the woman again and we went to find her father, we found him and she went somewhere, i move forward she helps me on the monitors (open gates and so...) and finaly i got to some portal (blue gate can'n go trought it) so... how to pass this silly spot

Firstly, a screen shot would help us figure out where you are.

If your where I think you are, there should be some turrets around. Pick them up and put them around to defend the room. Then kill anything that comes near untill Alyx arrives.

If that makes no sense, then your probably not where I think you are, so post a screenie or 2.

how can i give you a screenshot??

When ingame, press f5 to take a screenshot, it will save the screenshot to a directory inside the HL2 directory. Then uppload it to a site like imageshack and paste the link.

Load the game and get to the part you are stuck on. Press F5 and it will take a picture of what you see on the screen. Then go into your half life 2 folder in steam and look for a folder called screenshots. Find the picture that you made and upload it to here (In the add reply page there is an 'Add attatchments' option, use that.

Try to make sure the screenshot shows as much of the area as possible. Take more than one if you need to.
