Okay, my mother has a problem with her laptop. When she turns it on, it says that windows wasn't shut down properly before, and to select from a few ways to turn the computer on.
Safe Mode,
Safe Mode with Command Prompt,
Safe Mode with Networking,
Last Known Good Configuration, or
Normally...
Safe Mode works. But Safe Mode also sucks. Last known good configuration and Normal mode both give me a brief blue screen, then it just reboots the computer. This is frustrating for me simply because my mom thinks I can fix it... which I cannot. I've tried system restore... doesn't work. Did a spyware scan and a virus scan... both yeilded nothing. It's also a bad thing for me because my mom is a writer, and without her writing tools, we get like no income... so yeah! Please help :-p
