Stupid steam win 32 problem ARGHHH!

I have just installed steam. it started to update when it hit 27% an error came up saying Steam.exe (main exception): ERROR: delete of steam.exe failed, Win32 Error 5 "Access is denied."
i emailed steam and they told me all this stuff which i tried and it didnt work so far i told them again it didnt work and they gave me the same damn stuff to do maby you can help here is a pic

When the install is in progress, bring up the task manager. When a program called "steamtemp.exe" or something like that runs, quickly terminate the "steam.exe" process. That should work.
