What is the stupidist thing you've done so far?

I've just called down an artilery strike on a flag and then hopped in a jeep, drove immediately to that flag and got killed by the first shell ;(
 
At the moment it seems like not downloading the demo. Really can't be bothered downloading a 500mb file (is it?) only to find it won't run on my pc. I've got a GeForce 4MMX, so theres no chance.

My dad's setting up the new computer (not much of an upgrade, quite disappointed, but it was cheap) so when its done, should I bother trying to run BF2 on a GeForce FX 5200, 500 odd RAM, 2.8 Ghz? (Hell, the current PC has more RAM :|)

Also it's "stupidest". ;)
 
Be the commander :( rakuraji or however you spell his name can attest to that shit.
 
I think it requires an FX 5700+ (Correct me if I'm wrong)

The stupidest thing I did was surrounding a tank with Claymores, then capturing the flag. Once the flag was captured I ran and grabbed the tank and tried to drive off.

jumping in a black hawk to try and practise my flying hoping no-one else would jump in, 5 guys got in, i crashed into the sea, i never flew again. ;(
 
I decided I'd see if I could pick some people off from a rooftop (being a sniper obviously) and there was another sniper already up there. He didn't notice me, but it didn't occur to me to get my knife out or anything so I just tried to shoot him...he reacted a damn site faster than me and well....he killed me to death :(
 
Packing a car full of C4 ready to do a suicide bomb (dude, seriously, try it... it's so much fun). I drive into an enemy base (I thought) to blow it up. But... we just captured it within the past 15 seconds and I musta not seen. I drive in there, jumped out, BOOM.

...

There was about 7 teamkills up in the menu.

Needless to say, I got banned.
 
Almost everything I do in the game is the worst thing I've ever done. I just keep topping myself.

hmmmm
probably try to show off my awesome chopper flying skills to my squad (and lose a jet that was on us) by swooping under the bridge on the left side (if you are facing the beach from the ocean) of the western beach flag.

I can do it, I do it all the time.... but this time murphie's law my tail got caught on the bridge.... we didnt die... well not immediately... instead I spent about 3 minutes trying to untangle the rotor, before happily splooshing down into the sea, sending myself and my squad on a trip to davie jone's locker.
 
I keep running myself over with boats.
 
Lets just say,when I'm behind a airplane or chopper, you would meistake me for beeing half canadien half spanish ;)
 
Thrown a grenade into a pile of my own men after a teamswitch. Didn't get banned, but flames galore. :\
 
Typing while in a plane or helicopter... thus exiting the vehicle when I push enter. I need another damn control to get into vehicles fast, and which doesn't make me exit after I type something. I HATE THAT!

In all my games, i use the enter vehicle/use as the enter/return button. I don't see why it has to be so lame in bf2.
 
I was co-pilot in a MEC jet and as we were taking off on the run way I hit E and I got hit by the wing and died.
 
I think many people are plagued by this, but running yourself or teammates over with vehicles. I'll pull up ashore with a boat and press E while it's moving and kill myself, I'll get in a boat and drive off, my squad mates call for a ride, and i stupidly reverse over three of them in the water killing them all :|
 
I don't really know much about this game but i've i downloaded the demo and ive played quite alot...so i gotta grasp.

But today i was on the aircraft carrier and a harrier or whatever they are landed to get repairs i assume, but i thought it was an enemy plane, so being an anti-tank dude i whipped out my RPG thingy, and blew it off the side of the ship...i honestly didnt know :(

Pressed 's' to pull up in a plane thinking it did that but actually is 'decellerate' and just falling into the sea.

This one is the best though (just a funny thing). Once flying over the island VERY fast i saw a parachute open and start falling down, i tried to barrel roll out the way but i hit him and he died and my plane blew up lol...TINY man floating and i hit him with my plane...what are the chances?
 
Oh, another thing also.

Jumping out of helicopters as a pilot but somehow hitting the rotors as I jump out and dying. I do that all the time and it bugs the crap outta me.
 
My stupidest thing was when I was manning the Anti air gun on the carrier, the plane swooped low over the deck, so I followed it with the gatling gun firing, I forgot that people spawned there and I hosed 5 of my teamates right when they spawned. Luckly the admin saw what I was trying to do, and didnt kick/ban me. Didnt stop the complaints and revenge tks though :/
 
Using the support gun against a chopper while in a boat, and going to reload, but hitting the "e" key instead of "r". Dropped me in the water and they had to come back. :D
 
It was my first time playing on the big map (with the airfields) as MEC's and I thought I would be sneaky and try to knock out the enenemy's command trailor. So I load up a jeep with c4's drive around the edges of the map untill I come to this lone command trailor sitting next to an arifield. I crashed my jeep into it, got out and detonated the whole thing in this huge explosion. Then I turn around and I see one of my allies spawning right next to me.... Turns out it was my own command trailor I blew up. :x
After that I quietly left the server... :E
 
Probably when I was giving sniping a try on the construction site. I was trying to get a better angle on a guy. I strafed right off the edge falling to my death...

You were decent. Better than almost all public server commanders, you actually coordinated with us, made things a hell of a lot better, with just that.

Gah.. it's not a Harrier, it's an F-35 Joint Strike Fighter http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/f-35.htm .

The USMC's version of the USAF F-22 Raptor!
 
drove a vehicle and loads of guys were on with me, i killed them all by driving int the water :(
 
Getting into a chopper with Suicide42.

Having said that, I've banned myself from ever setting foot in the cockpit or drivers seat of any vehicle ever. I keep flipping everything I drive/pilot.

Wrong.

The F35 is going to the Airforce to replace the f15, the navy to replace the F18, and the F35B will replace the Harrier for the Raf, Royal Navy and the Us Marines.

It is nothing to do with the f22, the f35 is a far better aeroplane :thumbs:.



Anyways, one thing i keep doing in the aircraft is whenever i tried to shoot down a helicopter, i always forgot that i'm doing 900knots and the helicopter is doing 0, which is why it seems to come right at me so bloody quickly and i don't move out the way fast enough :(. Least i get a couple of kills :).

No the f-22 will replace the f-15, the f-15 was meant to be a air supperiority fighter, and so is the F-22, and the JSF may be a lot handier in combat and lot better suited ofr different roles, but the F-22 is far better in a dog fight, results ina test between the eurofighter, F-22 and some mog showed that the F-22 would win 9/10 times, the f-22 is also far more expensive and will not be sold to other countreis because it's to much of a threat if sold to other countries. The F-22 in short is the most supperior fighter in existense today.
 
Drove Ennui half way across the map in a jeep towards the MEC base, only to drive right off a bridge and kill us.
 
I got in a jeep with Ritz driving.

it's funny because I thought of that instantly when I saw the thread title... and she posted the same thing before me :D
 
Accidently pressing e while piloting a plane with a gunner. For some reason I always accidently press it when typing in a vehicle.
 
well there was this one time when I agreed to get half naked with a ..slightly big chick ...



oh you mean in-game ..oh ok ...ummmm shot my teamates cuz I couldnt remember what team I was on ..purposefully mined my own spawn area cuz the enemy kept moving in to attack us ...too bad my teamates chose to ALL travel down the same area in a tightly packed formation ...I was the only one left standing
 
Tried to fly a fully loaded blackhawk into the underneath section of the carrier, where the boats were.



I still have nightmares...
 
I have this bad habit of jumping just before I get into a vehicle. Anyway, my squad and I thought we could do some cool "paratrooper stuff" by getting into a blackhawk and having all the passengers parachute out over an objective. They were waiting for me to get in before they got started. When I got near the blackhawk, I jumped, and got chopped to hell by the spinning blades.
 
prolly shooting at outpost while he's in a gunners turret on the carrier, and I'm sniping the unsuspecting people waiting for planes. :E
