Stuttering sound when loading

Tiny problem that doesn't really get in the way of anything but is a bit distracting.

When the game loads stuff off my hdd the sound stutters. Anyone know any possible causes and/or solutions?

When the game loads stuff off my hdd the sound stutters. Anyone know any possible causes and/or solutions?

I have this same problem I think, I tried changing the sound quality levels and my graphics settings and nothing changed it. It's like whenever a new sound comes up and it has to load off of the HD the game stutters and the sound does as well. It's really annoying and I see no reason for why it's happening, and especially because I have had no problems with CS:Source.

AMD Athlon XP 2.6GHz
1GB RAM
ATI Radeon 9700 Pro
Nvidia nForce2 Mobo w/ SoundStorm
80GB SATA HD

I can't think of anything else that would be important.
