Hi guys, it's been awhile. I've been working on this model for awhile now. I made it with Silo, not SoftImage (I know, it's a switch-up). As the picture stands, it's aound 370,000 polygons since it has been subdivided. Unsubdivided it's around 19k... something like that. I forget. Anyway, it is a new design of mine. It's influences were the AR-15 and Mp5. What do you guys think?

Thanks. For a skin, I think It's going to be mainly a metallic black, with some plastic black pieces. I'm not sure. We'll see how it goes. I'll post some screenshots when I get it done.

What!? Only one comment? :frown: These are looking really good to me :) How many polys is this? I hope that you are going to show textured version too but I have couple of crits too. I would like to see side view because from these angles gun's clip and the red dot sight are looking bit wierd. The clip is m16 style clip but it curves from too high in addition to that sight curves up and looks bit wierd too. I think you should adjust the sight's frame so it would be in line and clip need some tweaking. By the way why doesn't the gun have its own sight? Red dot sights are using batteries and what if the power runs out? It not very tactical then.

Hawt. :D
Can't wait to see it skinned.

What are you using it for?

looking forward to seen it in textued mode, it does look good though

he said he made it with 'Silo'...whatever that is ;)

hopefully your just joking lol, its actually pretty sweet uses nurbs i think i tried out the trial but i prefer 3ds max :imu:

Looks great, although from the looks of the clip it should be firing rifle rounds, not 9mm or .45 which would class it as an SMG.

Can't say I disagree with ya there. Nice model it is, but unjokingly I have never heard of Silo. NURBS mapping, eh? Does it do that only, or just particularly well?
