Subsist, a fairly low-profile, quiet modification, has been churning out updates at a steady speed over the past few months, the most recent of which was a batch of map shots released today.[br]

[br]Despite the somewhat generic story and gameplay, the level design is promising, and the consistency of their releases inspires optimism. Check out their website for a lot of other screenshots and renders.

Brushwork needs a little more detailing, other than that it's looking pretty good.

I like and agree with your comment about the watermark.

I wish there were more singleplayer mods nowadays... :(

and they leaked the episode, single player mods are in fact just a myth

Agreed. I remember that magazine demo discs used to be filled with HL1 mods when it was first released. I remember a cool one where you were a government agent and it had a cool little RPG bit at the start like in HL1. That was back in the hayday of mods.

The only good one we got nowadays is Minerva. And that's just a really well made map. With some witty dialogue.

Hey,

Thank you for noticing our Mod. I am the Lead Designer in charge of Textures and Environmental Assests. I troll HL2.net daily, and was excited to see us up here.

The stuff we have on the site is gimped compared to what you are -about- to see. In the next two weeks at least we will be having a large Media Dump, to show you more environments, assets, characters, weapons, and perhapses even a movie or two.

Thank you all for your support; we are going to stay strong and hope to make Mod of the year next year.

See you all a GDC.
