Man... seeing that thread for Altitude totally brought back memories of the game SubSpace... apparently called Continuum now.

I played this game like CRAZY when I was younger. This was literally one of the most addicting games I have played and I don't know why I stopped playing it and forgot about it. It's incredibly amazing, or at least it was to me. I bet it still is, as tons of people still play it.
It's basically a top down space fighter game where you select different ships and stuff that have different abilities, and depending on the server there are different goals you have to accomplish... typically pitting teams against teams and stuff.
The space combat is incredibly skill oriented as it's like zero friction physics and your spaceship has thrusters and shut to move you forward and backwards... and really combat requires tons of skill and sometimes luck... and of course all that changes when you're in narrow corridors or out in open space.
What I want to know is... has anybody out there, anybody at all played this game and remember it as fondly as I do? I hope I'm not the only one.
