Subtitles language

May be a silly question: I am playing EP2 with italian subtitles and english audio. How do I change the subtitles language to english, so that I can use them only as a little aid when I don't catch some spoken word?

I guess you have to change the localisation in 'my games' Right click the EP2 bar, click properties, go to language.

No, it's already set to english but subtitles keep coming up in italian.

No problem. I heard something about console commands, let me do a quick search.

I think you could just replace the Italian subtitles file with the English one.

Thank you Rapstah. I never handled game files, GCF and son on, it's all sort of a black box to me so I'll search the forum for some tech knowledge

There should be a subtitles_italian file, find the subtitles_english file and replace the former with the latter.
