Subwoofer + Computer = ?

Quick and possibly stupid question...
Is having a subwoofer right next to my PC on the floor a bad idea? I mean, sometimes if I crank the bass my computer makes slightly worrying vibrating noises...

Subwoofers usually have a nasty magnetic field so you should seperate them.

If the subwoofer is shielded, then it shouldn't be a problem. If its part of a speaker system aimed at computers, then its most likely shielded. Otherwise, don't be surprised if your hard drive randomly gets corrupted
