Anyone here like him? He's a mellow singer. I heard him today with his band on a Las Angeles station. he's really good. His new album is getting better and better. i definitely recommend checking this artist out guys. He's on the second of his 50 states album. His first was Michigan and the latest is Illinois (spelled Illinoise on the album which is awesome since so many people pronounce it incorrectly this way). btw i like Trumpets. It's weird. He has a kinda Christian message, but it's creative and different.

Yeah i am quite interested in his music (critically aclaimed) but havent got around to picking up any of his albums. It'll be interesting to see how he goes on the 50 states thing- 50 albums is a helluva lot, and it'll be hard to keep up the standard- good luck to him.

Yeah, i've been a fan since the first album I read about 'Seven Swans'. IMO his best work - Greetings from Michigan thus far I keep seeing the same members popping up in the good threads about good musicians...

I love Sufjan. Michigan was an awesome album. His slow songs are soooo beautiful...Romulus is a good example. I just wish his song names were a little shorter...
