if its the one i think it is, its old, been posted just the other week (and the papers here only just noticed it and say there's a big fuss going on about it and how the car company plan to sue the makers of it)

Personally I think its well made, didn't even give it a second thought about the whole bad taste thing until the company started whining about it *shrugs*

I actually thought it was fairly clever myself. Even my mum considered it vaguely humourous, which says a lot.

But yes, it's old, and probably in very bad taste.

For a different advert they could do it so that the bomber can't possibly blow up such a nice car and he drives off

But it wouldn't work with the small but tough

for an advert they should remake the "david and goliath theme" lol .
make the polo david, and make a massive tank goliath. simply make the tank try to blow up the car, and discovering that nothing can "blow it up/damage it", (or even try to run over it).

then the tank falls off a cliff, while the happy polo drives off, to the quote " polo... small but TOUGH

if i were to remake it i would have the entire military inside the car as waves of terrorists come at it with rpgs and ak-47s. but the unwavering spirit of freedom protects the car and it cant be blown up. all of the terrorists suddenly understand the meaning of democracy and freedom and choose to surrender. cut to a scene of a waving flag and apple pie.
