Probably a longshot, but does anyone here actually care about baseball or any sport for that matter?

Me, I'm a Braves fan and if you know anything about baseball, then you'd know the Braves are out of it. Rooting for anyone but the Mets or Yankees and things are falling into plan.

I actually wouldn't mind watching sports if they just put a couple mics down by the field and called it a day. I'm tired of listening to the overpaid ex-jocks that can't let go of the game go on and on about every single play like its the end of the world. Also tired of all these pre, pre-pre, pre-post, post and post-post game shows that state the obvious, then go on to ask very deep and meaningful questions like, "Jim, what is going through so and so's mind." Wow, very profound, idiots.

Sports I don't mind, it's the loads of BS that surround it that turns me off.

When I was in New York in June I went to see a Yankees game at Yankee Stadium and a Mets game at Shea Stadium.

It's neat seeing them on TV now, especially the very gate that I entered through at Yankee Stadium!

But I usually cheer for the team that isn't the Yankees
