I actually beat that Mario Forever one.. It gets even harder.. Without savestate I would never have made it past the second level. I beat the first level it's pretty easy, but I ran out of lives on the second level. Thats alot of deaths. And frustration.

I'm a bit of a traditionalist and from the video (Mario 3F) I didn't like what I saw. Mario was jumping too high and he could hit two blocks in a single jump. Plus what the hell is his obsession with poison mushrooms? Dude, there are other ways to make a game harder.

Liked the homing fire however. That was a cool twist.

I have lost my hope for home-made projects having any positive results. I tried some Super Mario 2.5-D game and it was meh. At least they could have made Mario move like in the game, instead of all stiff-like.
