A lot of people are saying this is crap just because it's Super Smash Bros rip-off, and it is, but so what? Smash Bros is damn fun and I think the casual mascot games thing is a great idea. I'd love to see a 2D shooter with say, Gordon Freeman, the TF2 Soldier, John-117, Xan Kriegor, Doom Marine, etc. and I'm actually cautiously semi-interested in Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed.


What's a bit ridiculous about PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royal, other than the name, is that the most obvious characters (for me anyway), Crash and Spyro, may not even be in the damn game. Sony sold the rights to those characters to Activision and there's no word of them being licenced for this game so far. They've apparently managed to licence Solid Snake so it'd be pretty shocking if they weren't in negotiations for Crash and Spyro too. At least they didn't sell their sixth generation characters, so Ratchet and Jak are probably going to be in it at least.


What do you think they should include? Characters, stages, etc?

And Solid Snake, Nathan Drake and Cole from inFamous have been leaked.

You know, it's hilarious. Years ago people were clamoring for a game like this. "Duuuude it would be so cool if Sony made a game like Smash Bros.!" "Dude I know it would be awesome to have classic and new playstation characters fight each other!"

Nowadays everyone is a jaded c*nt. Myself included. That said this looks like a looot of fun. Had my eye on it since the live action teaser they showed last year. They mentioned they wanted to get as many characters in from the teaser as they could including third party characters. so here's hoping I get to finish characters like Drake Fortune off with Isaac Clarke's ungodly stomp.

And they better get Sir Daniel Fortesque in here somehow. James Bond was also confirmed months ago to possibly be in. Or Jen Tate from Primal. Allow her to cycle her four demon forms plus her human form with diff movesets.
