Based on the first story arc of the Superman/Batman monthly comic book title by Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuiness, President Lex Luthor uses the oncoming trajectory of a Kryptonite asteroid to frame Superman for the "pending destruction of the planet" and declares a $1 billion bounty on the heads of the Man of Steel and his “partner in crime,” Batman. Superheroes and supervillains alike launch a relentless pursuit of Superman and Batman, who must unite to stave off the action-packed onslaught, stop the asteroid, and uncover Luthor’s devious plot. Who the hell would be stupid enough to believe that Superman would (or even could) redirect a Kryptonite asteroid towards the Earth? He's a ****ing boyscout for the love of god. That and, the asteroid would cause him to die rather quickly.
 
This doesn't look like it was made by Bruce Timm. Why would there be an animated Superman/Batman movie not made by Bruce Timm?
 
Oh, it is! Nevermind what I said then, this will be fantastic, very much looking forward to it now! :D
 
Superman/Batman was a shit comic by a shit writer. Don't even bother talking about this movie. Loeb sucks.

not a fan of the artwork ..generic superhero stuff. I'd rather it was in the style of the justice league or hell Batman Brave and the Bold (best batman cartoon since the Animated series)
 
Batman Brave and the Bold is probaby the best example of how a lighthearted batman should be done, good campy fun.

Superman has got to be the lamest superhero ever.
 
The superman concept is 40 years out of date, everyone knows that a superheroes would be morally grey if he was set in the real world.
