WHY is it that
A.)When you see Breen talking to the Combine Advisor, you only see it's face for just a second, however VALVe took the time to render the ENTIRE Advisor?
1)It's going to be used in HL3, which will be in the Source engine as well.
2)It was cut from the original plot.
B.)Not only that, but I was just in the SDK model viewer and guess what I found? The advisor has seqences other than idol!
1)idol1 (What you see on screen)
2)fore (Moves forward+Special movment animation)
3)back (Moves backward+same as above)
4)TurnR (Turns right+not cheesy/cutom animation)
5)TurnL (Same as above)
6)AttackR (Swipes it's sharp claw to the right)
7)AttackL (Ditto)
EVEN MORE!
Turns out the Advisor has many, MANY bones that are specific to itself AND it's own hitboxes! (Was Gordon originally ment to fight it?) If anyone has HL2: Raising the Bar, please give information
on the original plot regarding the Advisor (If there is one) but please do NOT post scans of the book, y'know.
