Surprise Sony sequel announcement this Thursday on GT

I think Nolan North said that ND is going to start working on Uncharted 3 this year. Unless they are going to work on two titles at the same time.

Jak 4 sounds like more of a surprise than Uncharted 3.

Hopefully.

Yeah, its like impossible to say really. It can't be that big because they would save it for E3 I would think. Then again, that's a ways off yet, so my educated guess goes to the new Twisted Metal that we know Jaffe is creating right this second!

maybe another littlebigplanet

I hope to god the surprise isn't Resistance 3 or inFamous 2. Both of the games before them didn't give me that "MOAR" feeling. It definitely isn't LBP2 because the devs had said that they don't like the idea of a sequel because it would split the fanbase of the first one. Uncharted 3 is way too soon and isn't much of a surprise at all.

I like the idea of Jak 4 the most. It would really be the biggest surprise out of all the things people are guessing.

heavy rain 2

or any other "surpise" like killzone 3

Apparently, it's Resistance 3.
The stupid thing about this is the fact that it is a "surprise" to no one thanks to that billboard we saw AGES ago. Well, that and the fact that R3 is a no-brainer anyway. Do they just assume all of their gamers are under rocks or too busy online to pay attention to this stuff??

Let's all just hope it's Demon's Souls 2!

high-5s...

SOCOM 4.

Developed by Zipper and coming this Fall, this new SOCOM will include a full story-driven, single-player campaign comprised of 14 missions that the dev expects to offer around 12 hours of gameplay (according to IGN). Of course, the developer's experience on the excellent 256-player MAG will undoubtedly be carrying over (in as many ways as possible) to the announced 32-player online component of its new project.
Source.

I loved that no one even thought of that. Cool.

We already know what it is.

And Kojima won't ever go back from his 80% movie, 20% game formula. It works.

oh shit didn't see that. Socom is an ok series. they got me into console shooters but the last one was weak imo

so same thing as COD, they take a break, let someone else develop the game, then they come back and make things better.

With the practice of someone just making the same damn game again
