Lately my computer has been bugging out. Everything will slow to a crawl and when I check my processes I find that svchost is hogging all of the ram and cpu. Why does it do this? If I kill it, then my wireless stops working. Are there some drivers or dlls that I should replace?

What video card drivers do you have? And what are your system specs?

1 ghz centrino M
1 gig ram
NVidia GeForce4 420 Go 32M
running Windows XP Tablet Edition 2005

I'm pretty sure the Nvidia driver is the only one. It's named Nvidia GeForce 4 420 Go 32M

Well, there would be a version number. I'm basically just trying to figure out if you have a 9x.xx version driver. Some of those have nasty memory leaks that did exactly what you described.

In any case, you might try updating your video card drivers. (Assuming you don't have a 9x.xx series, in which case you'd want to downgrade, probably.)
