The swedish "pirate party" is now offering and ISP service that allows users to be completely anonymous on the internet.

I like their reasoning:
"If the government can check everything each citizen does, nobody can keep the government in check. The right to exchange information in private is fundamental to the democratic society. Without a safe and convenient way of accessing the Internet anonymously, this right is rendered null and void."
 
it's like $7 a month and it can be provided anywhere in the world, but it's on top of your existing internet, not instead of.
 
If it's a client using VPN then does that mean that you would connect to their servers in Sweden and then from there to the place you wanted to go (website or game server)? I'd think ping would suck for everyone except if you lived near the area.

Obviously, bandwidth would not be changed. And I'm sure a lot of people would love to get this service. hehe
