Swimming...

In the new vids, whenever they show Gordon in the water he is walking in it and it's never deep enough to swim in. And in the vids from last year when Gordon is on the dock, he gets hit and falls in the water and doesnt move then the screen goes black.

My question is... Will you be able to swim in HL2? I see no sign of this happening. Maybe one of you know or seen something i havent.

You'll certainly be able to swim. Just like you could in Half-Life.

Anyways, of course you can swim.
Because if not, some people would get bored ( including me ).

No you cannot swim in HL2. For that matter, you cannot move in HL2, you will sit there and watch people walk by for 40 hours.And for that matter, HL2 and these forums, and your entire life is a figment of your imagination.

Hmmm. Etzel90, Of course you'll be able to swim. Just because they don't show it off doesn't mean it isn't there. I think the water effects are the best ever in any game, better than Far Cry, so it would be a waste if you couldn't swim!

will you have diffrent weapons then just the weapons shown off in the video? will HL² have more content then what they show off in the video, will hl² have more enemy's then what they show off in the video? c'mon.. think man, use your brains
