Switched to 3dsmax 6.0

What can I say, I should of started using 3dsmax first. Its so much easier on the user then Maya and it doesnt take a heap load of resources. Just got 3DSMax 6 1.7 Gigs worth and its the coolest and very easy to use. :cheers: just thought Id share with you guys.
 
oh no I actually paid for this but in total it was around 1.7 gigs :borg: :cheese:

I remember when you could buy apps that came on only one floppy :)
 
Lol, I remember when I bough PeachTree Accounting and it came on 10 disks. I had to upgrade my hard disk because of the huge size.
 
yeah upgrading from AuctoCad 12 to 2000 was a huge jump in space requirements. especiialy when you add on Architectural Desktop.
 
lmfao, i don't even have a floppy frive in my computer anymore.

Wow that's the first time EVER in the years I've been doing CG that I've heard of someone switching from Maya to Max, the other way round is quite common.
