System Date in BIOS. WTF?!

I went into BIOS and checked the date. It said January 1, 1999. I tried to change the year to 2005, but it wouldn't let me. The Enter key did nothing. Is there something wrong with my system or is this just normal?

No, I can't go backwards. The enter key does nothing when I try to change the year.

Afaik, it's the page up/down key that changes the date. If not, google youre motherboard for a manual.
