how wil i be able to play half-life 2 with this system: P4 2.8 ghz, hercules 9700 pro , 1 gb DDR333 ram , 400 gb HD , asus P4C800-E deluxe.

i really want to know. tell me if i have to upgrade something.

Oh yeah, you will be able to play HL2...without any doubt.

Your system is perfect D1990 - I don't think you will have any problems in running the game in 1024x768@32bit on highest details. Don't know about AA...

ok several people are gonna be biting their lips at this point, maybe it is worth putting this in the hardware section. Maybe it is worth keeping it here. Either way the mods are gonna close this in a few secs because we have a few threewad like this already.

Try scrolling through some of the valve emails , they have given several updates as to what is required to run the game. Also search for some of the words you have used in the forum and you'll see numberous results.

Also your system seems fairly expensive and quick so with a bt of common sense you could tell it will be adequate.
