system shutdown virus

ok i just got anew computer and ican't believe this. u know that virus where it says system shutdown and then after 30 seconds your computer shuts down? well i have it.

does anyone know of a fix(which i know there are) and where to get it, please post a link.

press windows then r, type "shutdown -a" without the " iirc. It will stop it from shutting down, allowing you to download the updates necesary to fix it.

Download the windows updates.

Besides Windows Update, get some decent virus protection. I mean, if you can't buy any even AVG is better than nothing.
