I've just got a new computer and when using Windows x64 I got SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION blue screens. I can't figure out what's causing these - it seems to be completely random occuring any time it feels like it, but Half-Life 2 and Lost Coast always trigger one when they load (maybe something to do with 64bit software?). The screens only appear for a very short time before a reboot so I can't read much of what's on them. I've seen something about nv4_disp.dll and dxg.sys on them before though.

Specs:
AMD Athlon 64 3200+ (OCed @ 2.2gHz)
1.25 GB of DDR333 RAM
ThermalTake BlueOrb Heatsink
6600GT (Don't know which brand, sorry)
ASUS A8N-SLi Motherboard
120GB HDD

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Try re-installing DirectX and your Display drivers :)

Downloading the display drivers now, how do I reinstall DirectX?

Cheers

Just redownload it :)

Make sure it's the latest version as well :D

(i.e. get it direct from Microsoft)

Done all that, the error now seems to occur in win32k.sys, I think it is...
