Alright, before I begin, allow me to state I have all the latest drivers for my radeon 9800 pro, I have a processor that whilst weak at today standards (2.2 P4) should run the game well enough, and 1 gig of ram. I have restarted the game to correct this problem, and have searched a number of forums, finding no instance of this issue.
During the level Route Kanal, I reach a certain point, after the vortiguant in the box car, where the game goes... well, look at these

this occurs at the moment where a crow flies away and drops a skull at your feet. The sky also tears, in a simmilair way visible in the above picture, this occurs at another time as well. I can see the sky fine at other times up until a certain point, when all this goes awol, nothing helps. Please, someone, tell me what is causing this issue, it's almost impossible to continue the game without any textures or statics.
