Taking pictures of video

Is there any way to capture a frame of a movie without moviemaker? Moviemaker views the video so small that the quality of the picture looks horrible. Anyone have any suggestions?

Power DVD. Yes, it plays more than DVD's. You should be able to figure out what button/folder to look for.

btw fraps allows you to take a screenshot

Turn off the support from your graphics card and restart WMP. Then you can use Print Screen.

VLC has a snapshot feature, but for some reason it takes a snapshot of the entire screen, so you'll have to crop the video yourself.

Personally, I'd use fraps though

Speaking of this, I wonder if Vista will have a feature that temporarily turns off hardware acceleration or something when you take a printscreen of a video? That would be a good feature.
