Im thinking about getting a tattoo on the left side of my chest. My ideal tattoo would be something like a Pheonix, symbolizing rebirth. I can't find anything halfway decent, anyone wanna use their art skills and see what they can do?

Also, I agree about not getting a tattoo unless it's something your truly passionate about.

Getting a tattoo for the sake of getting a tattoo is dumb as hell. You'll regret it in the future if you scar your body with something you won't be happy with in the future.
It should have a purpose or some kind of meaning behind them.

truth.... if you dont know what to get then you dont want a tattoo. Im getting my own tattoo once ive passed my bike test and have some free cash. Its going to be a simple one on the inside of my lower right arm in times new roman italic that says in latin

I personally liked the "great chain" tattoo the main character from Bioshock had on his wrist. Most people wouldn't know what it is though.
I thought about getting something video game related to commemorate the long hours of my life wasted playing video games.

The NAVY doesn't like tattoos in places where it can't be hidden though.
Of all the U.S. military branches, the NAVY has the most draconic tattoo policies. Which sucks.

Ugh, there are so many dumb ****ing tattoos out there. Be careful what you get, and if anyone is willing to make you something for free, either 1. they are complete idiots for doing so, or 2. your best friend.

I was the first, some kid I vaguely knew really liked these monster fetuses I drew and wanted one as a tatoo, since they were some boredom sketches during school I was just like "Okay, whatever", which was stupid. I regret not ever charging him.

I have in mind a specific HL tattoo for my forearm but 1. forearm is a bad ****ing place to get a tattoo unless you like hanging dry wall and 2. It would be better to come up with my own design then what I was going to use.
