Taxing networks, is it a sign of the future?

Found the link to this article on Bluesnews, read it and was disgusted. Basically it is about a new tax that businesses and maybe home owners will have to pay for having any sort of network connecting computers in the buisiness. So if you have a LAN or a WAN in your home or business then you may in the future have to pay the government to be allowed to have it.

Thankfully its only in Florida that this is being proposed (for now at least) and it is also not a done deal yet.

sad. they should increase taxes on alcohol and tobacco b4 they do anything like that
