Is anybody else waiting for the new movie by Matt Stone and Trey Parker to come out? I think it looks like one of the best pieces of cinema ever fabricated by man. Especially the short clip in the latest trailer with the puppet of Michael Moore dancing. Hahaha.

only heared about it and saw a little trailer.

It's making fun of world events or what? does it hold an opinion or something? or just pure fun?

It's pretty much just making fun of all the celebrities that spoke out about the war and have no idea what they're saying. Of course expressed in the jocular fassion that suits Matt and Trey so well.

Team America is my single most anticpated movie of the year.

Not interested in the movie at all.

Maybe it has something to do with my hate for puppets or maybe I'm just tired of all the politics we keep getting shoved into the media... either way, not watching another political movie until the elections are over.

Go go The Grudge!

The point of the movie really is not to try to swing any votes on election day, its just to provide a little entertainment. Also, this movie is largely making fun of politics in the media...

The thing is that Matt and Trey's work really transcends any specific political message. They see the whole system as ridiculous. Their humor is absurdist in nature. I bet you won't have to have any interest whatsoever in politics to enjoy this movie.

Political insight may not be necessary for enjoying this movie, but it sure as hell will make it 10x better.

Yeah, they ridicule everybody, including Barbara Streisandndndndd. I'm not interested in the movie. I just don't like puppets. :(

Don't say that unless you are l337 like me and have the NES video game. Movie totally didn't do it justice.

Oh no! I am not '1337'. I suck at life, and now I will fail high school because I'm not '1337' enough.
:(

You can't talk, you don't have the NES Thunderbirds game. End of story. Perhaps later after you attempt to buy it on ebay I shall accept your cynicism as legitimate, but for now you've lost all speaking privlages.

I watched the television series where everyone was a puppet, or muppet or whatever the hell they were.
