Team Fortress 2 'Australian Christmas' Event 2011 Begins

[br]Another year and another TF2 Christmas update to get you feeling a little more christmassy. This year the update includes:

Two retro-futuristic "Dr. Grordbort" class packs for the Engineer and Pyro.[br]14 new holiday-themed weapons, hats and cosmetic items by the TF community's item creators, using the Steam Workshop.[br]CP_Foundry - a new five-cap control point map designed by Valve (inc 12 achievements)[br]Addition of 'Naughty and Nice' crates

Also as part of the holiday celebration, over 50 items in the Mann Co. in-game store will be on sale for up to 75% until January 2nd, 2012. Additionally, the in-game item drop rate will be doubled for the first week of the event. There look to be some fun new weapons to try out with new abilities. Just to note: The new weapons are not craftable yet. They're only drop and crate for the duration of the event. They'll be available more readily later.

Oh man... I'm dealing with hl2.exe failures in TF2 right now, and probably won't have that figured out until this is over.

I'll be on the lookout for the Pomson 6000 - losing medigun charge not ok. Also, is 'no random critical hits' really a nerf?
