Team Fortress 2 disappearing from Steam Games?

Randomly, I'll go to play TF2, but can't. I find it's not in "My Games" list. I restart Steam, it's there. I've defragged/verified the cache...I don't know!

No, it's not on any other game, just TF2, so I'm wondering if it's a common problem, or just me? I don't know.

I also get this problem but I think it has to do with running PeerGuardian for me so it may not be the same issue.

hmm, i dont see the major prob, it take less than 20sec to restart steam, and thats my comp that has a lot of clients and apps constantly running.

Have you deleted any files? Particularly mini dump ones.

I found most of my games were still listed in my games, but when i clicked them took me to purchase them. The orange box disappeared all together. I restored the deleted file from the recycle bin.

20 seconds for you, but not me. And besides, I honestly shouldn't be expected to restart my client every time.
