After the defeat of their old arch nemesis, The Shredder, the Turtles have grown apart as a family. Struggling to keep them together, their rat sensei, Master Splinter, becomes worried when strange things begin to brew in New York City. Tech-industrialist Max Winters is amassing an army of ancient monsters to apparently take over the world.

Trailer :D

The CGI looks kinda weak. Something about it doesn't flow well together, looks more like a cutscene in a videogame and I don't think its the art style.

Gonna be AMAZING. I hear its supposed to be darker than the original movies.

TMNT ftmfw.

omg those movies pwned. I loved the one where they went back in time to feudal Japan.

I have to say, it looks like they went in a promising direction with it. The animated environments look just like the old cartoon, without being ugly. :D

**** the CGI getting improved. Improve your love of Ninja Turtles.

I think it looks great, only thing i dont really like is how their faces look. They look a little to young. I liked the old look of the original movies.

I don't like the CGI at all when they were running, but at the end it seemed a bit better.

Sorry, I feel I have to say something.

In a movie that is entirely CG nowadays, there is no bad CG. They could make a nearly photorealistic rendering for the movie if they wanted to. It is a conscious decision to make it look a little rubbery and cartoonish. The renders are actually quite amazing. Anyone who does 3d art would know that just a single frame from that movie looks great. It is definitely the art style.

so is this movie going to be 100% cgi? in that case i have no problem with it, i just for some reason assumed it would be cgi in real world with human actors etc. enlighten meh.

I'm pretty sure it will be all CGI.

"TMNT", the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie will be the first all CG animated movie in the history of the franchise.

yea, watching it again it was a pretty stupid mistake to make. Looks****ing wicked any idea of release date?

btw i think the look is very reminiscent of the old darker comics, which is a good thing, but if they manage to mix a darker style more mature film with the slap stick fun of the films this will ouckin fwn

Wow, I never realized TMNT had such superhuman leaping abilities / ability to fall from large heights without damage.

I did love the old cartoons as a kid, though.

I looks like it was intentional. Although their movements seem more amphibian than that of a reptile.

But that being said, this is a hell of a lot better looking than I expected. :O

Did you play the games? They did that all the time.

The turtles are warm-blooded. ;)

They didn't do it like a superhero leaping over buildings like in this :-P

i hope this movie has another turtle breakdancing scene with white guy rappers chanting "go turtle, go turtle go!". Best scen evarrrr.

In TMNT:TF they would jump from their blimp 100s of feet in the air to the arena, be it on top of a building, or inside one.

I also seem to recall the end of the first stage of TMNT2, where they jump out of the flaming building.

Don't forget, they are both super, and ninjas. ;)

Go ninja, go ninja go.

I heard that it's going to be about their origin, which is why they look so young and skinny.

I thought we all knew of their origin?

*shrug* Just what I heard. Seems to make sense, except the little... paraphrase... thing says they had already been together and defeated whats-his-face, so... meh. I don't really know anything about them. Like, at all.

In Britain will it be called the Teenage Mutant Hero turtles? i thought they changed the name, of the cartoon anyway, because its too violent with them using actual ninja weapons, swords etc.

aye,
and they're fricking TEENAGERS of course they look young.

It's not Young Adult Ninja Turtles is it

They look exactly like they did in the original dark comics. This can't be their origin story, that excerpt in the first post said this takes place after defeating Shredder. I'm hoping it will be more serious than humourous, but either way it looks amazing
