Tekken 5, whoses tried it?

After a long decision, and being a Tekken fan since the first on psx i bought the fifth installment OVER battlefield 2 *equips flame sheild*

Hear me out first, this game is damn good. It reminds me of the jump from tekken 2 to 3, that was amazing. 4 to 5 has impressed me immensely with its new engine, new characters, more developed stories, pwetty lookin' and loadsa game modes ( you can even go back back and select tekken 1/2/3 arcade modes and play like the old days!!!)

Anyway, the novelty hasn't worn for me and i'm loving this game, any other Tekken fans around? What does everyone else think?

Ive been playing tekken since tekken 3 and i loved it , i was in so many tournaments winning first place then went to nationals and got my but whooped. I'v been trying to find a mall close by me that has the arcade but i'm having no luck so i gave up. It looks good though.

heh thats pretty cool. I've loved it for so long, some guys brought it in and were playing it in my college common room tv and the top champion in my college was whooping everyone, and i came in and asked him nicely for the game pretending i was shy and stuff...then whooped him continually 10 games, 4 perfects with alternating characters. GREAT game for multiplayers when you got mates around, Tekken Tag especially. Number 5 just makes it even better. Have you got it yet Alan? Extra characters including devil Jin who is fooking powerful, and some i can't mention.

Ichi...DOA was ok, but only so long can bouncy boobs entertain me in a beat em up, i need raw agression sometimes, and DOA doesnt have that.

Oh and as far as im concerned Tekken has leapfrogged virtua fighter now!

That just reminded me, there is no way on earth you can say that any current fighting game can beat Soul Caliber for pure fun fighting and perfect fighting system. That 2nd was pritty good but I rate the first the most.

I found out that there was a Tekken 5 when i went up to Carins and i said to myself " how many of these are they going to make"...............so yeah.

No i dont have it cant find the darn thing anyware , and im not about to buy a ps2 just for it.

I've been playing with Raven the 'Blade' look alike all day, he's is AWESOME, try him out in practice mode first, a brilliant new character. The tekken 6 video looked good, but i wanted in game footage or something.

Does anyone understand this Tekken story yet? I've got a few bits n pieces, but slightly confusing. Who sent the Jack-5's into Hons...something whatever its called?

I play Tekken 5 regularly, it’s the best installment since Tekken 3, the game is pretty much balanced except Steve Fox, Nina and Bryan Fury; those are top tiers. Anyway, it’s a very good fighting game if you have competition to play with, Tekken and Soul Calibur series are my favorites fighting games.
