Temp Folder For Tags

I was looking through my Steam folders finding crap to delete before I defrag my HD for the first time in like a year. I can across a folder @ C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\username\counter-strike source\cstrike\materials\temp. This folder contains cached tag files from people on the server that you download when joining a server.

Are these safe to delete? I just wanna remove as much unnecessary files as possible.

yeah go ahead and delete i do it every once and a while

the folder gets pretty big after some time
