So has anybody watched this show and liked it?

I missed it when it was running on Virgin, but I managed to buy the DVD boxset and I was pleasantly surprised; though I'm sure there are plotholes concerning when Sarah broke out and her and John went into hiding.

I'm sure the events in T2 did in fact took place in 1991, with them preventing J-Day in 1997. But there were several references of them carrying out the destruction of Cyberdyne in 1997, as well as Sarah mentioning that she escapes the Asylum in 1997.

Other than that, there are some amusing moments

Morris: "Cool is that your car?"
Cameron: "No, it belongs to the guy I killed and stuffed in the trunk"

I watched the first episode and wasn't impressed and never continued so nay from me.

Meh show.
Way too much drama and John is such a whiny bitch.

Cameron's cute and funny and the action doesn't disappoint.

Also, WHAT THE ****@THE ANTAGONIST TERMINATOR MAGICALLY REBUILDING HIMSELF?!?!?!??!

Yeah, I thought that, with so many many Terminators running around, why not just use a new one to go after the Conners. It's not like the guy they got to replace the pilots actor is any good either.

You PAYED for this series?

For me its the Haven't seen it option, coupled with the Nay option.

Yeah that was one big WTF right there LOL.

The terminator manages to rebuild himself despite the fact that the pieces were probably scattered all over the junkyard, and does so without a ****ing head! And then uses a dead guy's head as a replacement!

I quite liked it, even though it's filled with plotholes

decent episode tonight

some funny shit from 4chan XD

"John. You have an erection."
"Yeah... about that. Remember when I asked you if you were good at math?"
"Yes."
"And then I asked you to do it for me?"
"Yes."
"And you said Yes?"
"Yes."
"So. Are you good at hand jobs?"
"Yes."
"Score it." *Fap, Fap, Fap*

John Connor: "So Cameron... Was anything you said about loving me true?"
(Cameron stares blankly at him)
Cameron: "No. I was just trying to trick you."
John: "Oh... Well you see, the reason I'm asking is because.. I... I like you."
Cameron: "That's good. I like you too."
John: "No I mean... I like you as in I love you."
Cameron: "Love is for humans. As a machine I am incapable of love."
John: "Well then... How bout I teach you what love is..."
Cameron: "No. You're a prime human specimen, but I'm much more attracted to the toaster."

lol

The first episode of Season 2 was utter shite. Basically whatever you do don't let Sarah Connor get behind the wheel of an Automobile because it's an absolute given that she will crash it within about 3 minutes. That seemed to be the lesson of the episode. I hope EP 2 dramatically improves on things otherwise I think I'll skip the rest of the series.

However Summer Glau = hot.

Saw ep 5 just now. Pretty good ep. Nice and touching thing at the end.
But the thing is this all changes by the time T3 happens. In the current timeline doomsday is set for 2012. But in T3 it's 2007, so they probably end up going back in time again and only end up speeding up the process from its current rate. I'm assuming Alison is probably never going to be born, just killed or possibly never even conceived. Or if she is, her fate may be changed too. As well as Biddel's fate, he's set to graduate but he won't, his new death will probably be different too. It's funny this is all how it will end up being if they hadn't come to the future, an alternate timeline so to speak but I suppose what we're to end up watching is the end result of all the time traveling. And I definitely thought the leukemia would come from the radiation from the last ep, but before then I figured it would be the smoking.

I think it's a really good show besides Johns bitching and the wasted scenes in the show that are just fillers.

The producer said that the events of T3 take place in another universe, just to let you know.

Wasn't expecting a T-1000 to appear this early into the show

Haven't watched it, but with regard to the OP - T2 took place sometime in 1995 as far as I remember. When the Terminator is telling Sarah of the Bennet-Dyson/Skynet timeline.

ah, I guess thats good to know, though the future is being changed from what they think of it now anyways. That goes well for what would've been if nothing interefered along the T1 and T2 storyline once again. So fates of Alison, Bennet and others can still be different. From what they have been shown to be (according to John's uncle's memories).

Shit sux. Haven't bothered watching any of season 2 because I am sure shit still sux.

And I hate Summer Glau. She has :3 face.

I rather liked it. Yes,it's getting canceled. I can only hope that the FOX Network bankrupts thx to this economic crisis. They just canceled 'The Riches' as well.
Anyway, it may have not been perfect but it is certainly better than Terminator 3. Which is completely ignored by this series and rightfully so. This franchise is pretty much dead to me now.
The upcoming movie is bound to be shit since that hack is directing it.

started good, went bad, is bad.

Nay.

Sources for both? I only skimmed Wiki, doesn't say anything about either. Only "in danger of."

Lovely little Dodge advert at the start of the last ep...almost expected John Connor to talk about the lovely interior and comfy ride

It may have to get canceled or end because Salvation. Unless they come up with a 3rd season to finish the series. All good thing have to come to end(Only if it ends the RIGHT WAY). To be honest if they keep on going the wrong direction I am going to consider this to be the end.

It's not great, but definitely not horrible. I watch it from time to time when I remember it exists.

I kind of like it. It would've been better if they just called this series something else and stopped pretending it has anything to do with terminator. Oh and to the one that said it has to end because of Terminator 4, well it doesn't since the producers specified that the story in this series follows an alternate timeline. Pretty much giving them complete liberty as to where to take the story.

After watching the last episode with the military school, I think it would've been better if they used the actor form this episode to play Cromartie instead of that blond guy. This guy was just ****ing scary... LOL.

Also whoever cast Shirley Manson as the T-1000 probably got the idea after watching this:

So far I only watched 4 episodes. It's probably one of the good shows I can stand watching in these days. Let's hope they don't screw it like The 4400.

I just saw the T4 trailer. Could be badass. Also does anyone else notice how much shorter the war apprently has become? I mean it was supposed to happen in 1997 originally, and Reese came back from 2027 (or later). And from T3 it starts 2007 and T4 takes place in 2018, so they turned a 30 year war into an 11 year war (assuming it ends at T4). And the trailer makes it seem that they aren't in junkyards like its been so illustrated.

I'm pretty sure war doesn't ends in Terminator 4. There'll be young Kyle Reese in the film.

There's talk that this isn't directly related to the first 3 films, but is in direction of the original timeline, I dunno. It doesn't have the number four in it...They talk in wiki about the first 3 movies giving them leeway for this film so that seems to imply it IS.
