Terminator TV series

I was actually talking about this with a friend in the pub one night and I got so pissed discussing it I almost felt like throwing my glass.

:| You're kidding, right?
*Saturos wonders how much Remus is into Terminator:The Chronicles of Sarah Conner, considering that his avatar is the melting T-1000. :|

A friend and I tuned into this about halfway through. I wasn't paying too much attention to it personally, but we were both saying that Summer Glau isn't nearly deadpan enough to be a Terminator. In fact, nobody played their respective roles very well except for the male terminator, who, when he first showed up my friend exclaimed, "Holy shit, Chandler's the terminator!" (Chandler Bing from Friends--no, it isn't the same actor, just looks like him)

It seems like the kind of show you tune into when there's absolutely nothing else on, or like an afterthought. "That Terminator show is on...eh, why not?" But then you watch it and you come away disappointed.

I've also taken to calling it, "My Life as a So-Called Terminator."

Answer: Not at all. :|

I thought Remus's avatar was an exaggerated black guy's facial expression.

It is? :O
Aye it is. I recognized the last moments of the T-1000 the second I saw that avatar! Watch T2 again just as Arny blows the T-1000 into the molten steel.;)

Some Informative Link please..
Sorry Soulslicer, can't find any YouTube links on the T-1000 right now on account of being too damn lazy.:o Just pop in T2 if you have it. If you're nerdy enough to be a HL2 fan, then the chances are good you probably have the T2 DVD lying around somewhere like the majority of us probably do.

Pilot was decent, second episode was utter dog shit.

1 ) Why are the Connors such whiny bitches?
2 ) What the **** is with the re-assembling Terminator? He looks like the older Terminator model and his body parts ****ing pieced themselves together after being scattered all over a junkyard!
3 ) I can already see there's going to be a love relationship between Summer Glau's terminator and John, God help us all.

Other than that, I kinda've like it... nothing else on Monday nights anyways.

There was no tension in Episode 2 at all. The pilot was ok.

What I dont get is the series takes place 2 years after the events of T2, in which Sarah Connor is a total badass and nothing phases her anymore...yet, in the tv series, she's a freakin wimp.

gayyyyaayyyyyyy

i actually kinda like the show myself, being a terminator 1 and 2 fan (i don't know why T3 was greenlighted, being that the title of the film didn't even happen until the last 15 minutes of the film)

Man, even I knew that Remus' avatard was the T-1000. you people suck.

On topic, I'm going to try watching this tonight, and see if it's any good...

Yes, I've just watched the first 3 episodes online and to quote someone that pretty much sumed up my thoughts on the show...

It's so bad it's lol.

This.

I mean at first i was like, OK they've butchered the story continuity but **** it it could still be at least watchable.

But honestly WTF at the terminator that was blown apart, magically reassembles itself at the junk yard (without a head), kills some dude attaches the dead guy's head on. That seriously broke my ridiculousness meter right there :|:|:|:|

Yeah, show sucks dick...but really, I watch it for Summer Glau :D

I never watched any of the Terminator movies. unless I was 5. :|

Yes, I'm serious.
