Terry Pratchett's 'Hogfather' on the telly.

On the evidence of an early cut of The Hogfather, Pratchett's decision to go small-screen would appear to be justified. The tone is dark yet humorous, the CGI effects don?t feel intrusive, and there are enough quasi-scientific curveballs present in Pratchett?s text to please the converted without baffling newcomers.

No, it revolves around Death and Susan, although the wizards are in it too.

Can't wait to see this. If all goes well, I really do hope more start being made. But then, something inside me wants them to just stay to books, so I can carry on using my imagination. Hmmm.

Cartoon adaptations were done years ago of Wyrd Sisters and Soul Music, they're pretty good. I have them on dvd.

I hope this turns out to be good, and i get home in time to see it !

Loved it! What a fantabulous adaptation, sure enough I've not read the book, but I have read many of Terry's and I think it was faithful enough to his style. Extremely entertaining, really amazed that any british film studio could actually pull of anything half decent after we make things like Doctor Who, and Torchwood. D: D: D:

Yeah, i was also surprised. It contained allot of the humour and wit and was really very good. Shame about all the adverts and it being split up but I'm really looking forward to it on dvd.

Sweet I love Terry Pratchet's humour and personification of Death. I'm seeing it tomorrow with 2 friends, so I have high hopes for it.

My writing style is extremely similar to Terry Pratchet's, since he's one of the only authors I've read (and liked). <3'd the intro to Pyramids. Best intro ever.

I was disapointed with Death's voice and I didn't like the auditors portrail much at all TBH.

Other than that I though it was a bit like the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series. Funny, but a little boring.
