Test concept art

In an attempt to guage the reaction of the mod team I'm apart of as today, I created a piece of test art. It's not necessarily designed with originality in mind, but as a style test. Input on the overall look would be appreciated.

FYI, I was told Silent Hill was an inspiration for the mod, so...

Thats cool. It definately has a silent hill look to it. What did you use to draw it?

I used one of those great, cheap little click pencils. They tend to smear, but that can be used to your advantage. And like I said, they're cheap, and that's always a plus.

very nice work style is good and its mature enough for concept art i guess .

Right, the Bic ones.

Edit: Ah, oops! I guess I used a 0.7mm Bic for the hand...face...thing. That explains why the lines came out thicker than I anticipated.

It looks good but the knife in the hand looks all wrong.. maybe add some perspective to it?
