Today I just came back from a test drive of the new Lancer Evo 8.
Fantastic. Normally you are not suposed to test drive it as it just came to the agency, but since I went with my dad and made an apointment, today we got called for the test.
First of all, it looked nice from the outside, nice big Fiber carbon spoiler, BBS rhims and Brembo brakes. It really looked bad-ass, I love factory tuned cars.
When we first took it out, there was trafic, so we had to run under 3000 RPM, I thought that it suked balls, but when a strait ligner, over 3000 RPM the trubo kicked in... we were catapulted to the back of our Recaro racing seats, I love that feeling, the engine made a really nice sound and it was fast as hell.
The only thing I dindn't like was when changing gears, it was to roughf, you really loose speed when changin them. Also, the interior, apart from the racing seats, sucks. Really simple, nothing much to see, but then again, its a racing car.
Second thing I didn't like, the price tag : 45 thousand dollars. I think is ridiculois expensive when with that price you can buy an SRT-8 and in the US you can buy the evo for 39 K.
It would also be stupid to buy one, when the new Evo model (concept x) is cmoing out next year.
