where the hell do you people find your politicians? and who on earth would even vote for him?
"The Amarillo Globe News is reporting that Republican gubernatorial candidate Star Locke wants to scrap Texas' current property tax system. Instead, Locke would institute new taxes on abortion providers, soft drinks, and violent video games to fund the state's government. Locke, a rancher and builder from Corpus Christi, favors a 50% tax on violent games, as well as a $10,000 tax per abortion and a 10% levy on sweetened soft drinks.
The candidate told the Globe News he would create a 10-member panel to determine which games are violent. Taxes would then be levied against game publishers. The same board would also decide whether video game ads portrayed violence."

who gives him the right to say what people can do with their bodies or with their leisure time? you americans need to stand up to people like this before they become the norm not the exception. The game tax is bad but the abortion tax is just absolutely rediculous ..who will pay for mothers who need to terminate their pregnancy because of health risks? why should they be penalized because fundamentalist crazuies such as this guy feel they have a right to decide what other people do? somebody needs to kick some sense into this guy
