Texture error when compiling.

I'm using some grass on my terrain, and when I try to compile I get like 20 lines of..


Material NATURE/BLENDDIRTDIRT001A uses unknown detail object type citygrass01!


Anyone know how to fix this?

thats just cause for some reason we haven't got access to _all_ the resources used in HL2

its just because the material you've chosen also has settings for autopopulating itself with prop_detail objects (grass) but since it can't access those it can't find them.. It's harmless but you'll get that error everytime until either you create a new version or we get full access to everything. Or you use another blend texture that doesn't have those settings for prop_detail grass effects.
 
So theres no way for us to add 3d grass to grass textures as seen in game?
 
Thanks TDE. Hmm...is valve planning on letting us have access to this stuff?
