hi everybody !
I post a new thread since I can't edit the last one I posted...
Anyway, here is the new TexturEd, a GUI for the vTex utility.
Whith this utility you will be able to easily edit the compiling options, material properties (shaders, shaders fallback, proxies, properties...) of your texture and convert it.
TexturEd is still in Beta phase but is almost finished (still one functionality to implement)
All shaders, fallbacks, proxies, material properties and compiling options are loaded from .txt files so it is easy to update them in case of a missing element or for your own use.
A preset system allows you to have different configuration files for your games/mods.
A treeview allows you to manage your sub-directories and files of the base directory you specified.
The directory structure is automatically copied from the "materialsrc" (sdk) directory to the "materials" (game) directory, so you don't have to worry about that.
Just add your texture (drag and drop in a folder of the treeview), edit his properties and convert it (steam must be loaded)
See screenshots here : http://www.open-design.be/textured.htm
and download form here : http://www.open-design.be/dev/TexturEd.zip
Any suggestions, comments, remarks... email me at:
