Lately I've noticed that when I start up TF2, I'll go to browse the server listings, and only about 70-120 servers show up before it stops refreshing*.
When I go to join any of them, I get the same error "Server not responding" and I wont be able to connect at all to any of them.
I'll close TF2, because refreshing the list doesn't do anything, and spam clicking the "Join Game" button wont work either.
I get back to my desktop and try to start up TF2 again to find that it just sits on the launching window, for a random amount of time, usually only a few minutes.
So I cancel that because after about 20 seconds Steam starts to get all ****ed up, it wont let me open any of the drop down menus and the taskbar
Steam icon wont respond either. While all this is going on I'll try to open my browser, and what would you know I get 404 errors on every page,
I'm unable to connect or do anything because my connection the Internet is down.
After about another 2-3 minutes it will finally reconnect, but I would like to know why this shit is happening.
When TF2 first came out I never had this issue then about 3 months after the release this all started happening.
Also I don't play anything else other than TF2 on Steam so I'm not sure if CSS, DoD:S, or any of the other multiplayer games do this.
*I have no filters on.
