Hey guys
As you know valve had ideas to release some tf2 trading cards but never did
Well i visited valve and got my hands on a bunch of packs of these cards and im willing to sell these to anyone willing to pay a fair price since these cant be bought anywhere
I have about 11 packs to sell. PM me if your interested

PM me and ill gladly send any pics you want. I have opened some so i can give you pics of the actual cards as well

I'm afraid you can't advertise to sell products on our forums, as we can't take responsibility if problems arise. Ebay is your best bet.

You will not: Advertise or offer to sell any goods or services for any commercial purpose

I'd be interesting in seeing pictures of the cards though, as I've only seen digital templates before. (Also...moved thread)

That's pretty awesome....uhhh, just for shits and giggles, how much would you sell them for, if you could?

GIMME GIMME GIMME!! :D

How much?

You think Valve gave you those cards so that you could sell them?

Save them. They're collector's items and will definitely be worth something later on down the road.

*whispers to Joule* STFU!!!

*Turns to halflifeguy* So yeh, wut

Glenn I completely understand the point of that rule but it's kinda pointless. How about there was a section to say like sell an RX8 but the 2 parties are not associated at all with the forum and it's their business only?

haha dont worry dude. Valve let me take as many packs as i could take so i took like 50. I opened up all but these ones i'm selling

You can link ebay items, I'm pretty sure but the actual transaction and talks can't be done through this forum, best to do it through ebay. Anything discussed on here won't stand up to scrutiny if there are problems with the process. So yeah...

By the way halflifeguy, in the packs do you get a random assortment of various cards? Like 2 class cards, 3 weapon cards, 4 map cards and an unlock or something? Or does every pack have the same full set?

It seems I'm always absent from these "Hey let's give out cool stuf cause we're valve lol" incidents. It depresses me so

Its a random assortment i believe. Sometimes you'll get all class cards. Some times no class cards, with some map and weapon cards thrown in there

Looking at pics gave me serious nostalgia about the Pokemon booster packs I was so insane for.

How many cards per pack? I'm sure you'd have a complete set, how many different cards is that? There are cards for the classes, weapons and maps - anything else?

you get about 5 cards per pack. they're mostly stat cards for the players but you do get some random things in the packs. One pack i got had a stat card for the sentry gun telling you its vitals and the breakdown of its bits and parts. I got a similar one for the minigun

Wow. I'm pretty amazed that the project went that far. I wonder if this is a bit of "viral marketing" if Valve decides to sell them... maybe complete sets.

How is that viral marketing?

It spreads by word of mouth... you drop some product into the hands of hardcore fans and it will quickly be spread around, thanks to the Internet. It's not exactly a targeted campaign, but little things here and there will eventually be noticed.

That really has nothing to do with viral marketing though. The game spreads itself around already thanks to the internet.

This would just be merchandising.

Whatever. I guess I used the wrong phrase then. :|

I guess its' gonna cost you your life.

*points gun to your head*
