Valve's just released another update for Team Fortress 2, mostly consisting of bugfixes.

* Fixed Badlands exploits and missing textures
* Fixed tv_enable resetting maxplayers value
* Fixed a case where a spy stabbing from the front of a player would score a backstab
* Fixed stats being reported incorrectly for some players
* Dropped weapons now replenish half of your max ammo when picked up
* Added exec'ing a cfg.cfg file on the client when you select a class to play (for real this time!)
* Reverted mp_forcecamera changes from previous release and set TF2 default back to 1

Check out the full thing here.

Thanks to Shamrock for tipping me off to this by the way!

Dropped weapons now replenish half of your max ammo when picked up

Anyone remember what it was before? I'd always get topped off when running over them, or just going to a dispenser or ammo box.

Whoa, the front stab is certainly worth noting. And I'm glad Valve immediately saw to the Badlands exploits. Trust the community to find them that quickly :p

As far as I know the weapon pick up only replenished the amount of ammo in the weapon, which meant that Heavies wouldn't get much of a boost from picking up Soldier's rocket launchers. That's certainly great. Although it does mean that enemy miniguns won't replenish all ammo...

That seems pretty good overall.

I'm disappointed. I thought this might of been the update where we got some of the new stuff :(

We just got "new stuff" less than two weeks ago.

I don't know how much you expect from them, but don't be expecting it within the next month.

Anyone notice if they changed the amount of metal Engis get from dropped weapons?

This update, although small, makes me very happy!

With last few patches I was seeing frontstabbing more frequently, it was starting to get annoying.

Thanks valve!! woohoo!!:D

Orisit single-handedly delivers! :D
