tft monitor problem

i am having a few problems with my Acer AL1511 tft monitor , some times it works and the other times it has a light grey screen and you can see nothing on the desktop . is it scrap ?

How old is it cause i had a Acer TFT moniter and it has the same problem then it stoped working.

do the leds still work? can you see it's still getting energy?

mine died two times during summer when components in it got damaged and randomly switched itself off. after 3-4 weeks it died completly.

the screen still lights up and the only led it has is the power led (if thats what u mean)

Why dont people just call tech support for the company for these kinds of things?

i decided to get a lcd monitor off of ebay till i can afford a new one , thx for the replies
