it seems the storyline is changed a bit
maybe that japanese chick is another girl gordon finds like alyx and posible a subplot is that both girls try to wins gordon's love,
and that bearded eyepatched man is the gman who is like a hans gruber from the future and posibly the father of big boss cuz the storyline is linked to the one of metal gear solid in some way
and those others futuristic looking characters are humans from another time/dimension that come to help the humans in earth to fight the combine which are theyr enemyes too,because parallel time dimensional rifts are part of the storyline
